NASA Still Searching glitch
NASA plans to launch space shuttle Discovery , though engineers have not nailed down the cause of the problem that forced the space agency to abandon last week’s attempt.
NASA first had trouble with the gauges during a test of the fuel system in April. Although engineers never figured out the cause of the problem, they replaced electric cables and transistor boxes and swapped out the fuel tank itself. The gauge performed well during a test in May, leading shuttle managers to think they had solved the problem.
