Difference between a Canadian Citizen and a Permanent Resident

Though the permanent residents in Canada have almost equal rights, there are some of them that are not same and equal like holding of public office, the right to vote and joining the military service. Other than these, all the other benefits are the same as working anywhere in the country or having a residence in Canada.

The immigration policies of Canada are really flexible. One just needs to abide by the laws and getting it becomes easier. Here we have a list of few programs that offer a permanent visa to Canada.

    1. Skilled Immigrant Program:  This program helps you get a permanent visa based on their skills and education. A skilled immigrant is always preferred as they contribute a lot to the economy of the country.

Apart from all these programs, your score band in language tests like IELTS, TOEFL, etc matter a lot. Not only these, your medical clearance, Education Credential Assessment (ECA) report, your assets that prove that you can manage funds here and your educational qualification, everything is clearly and well observed.
