    Following Your Dreams

It may seem somewhat hackneyed and clichéd to suggest to someone that they should follow their dreams, but really, why shouldn’t one?  Ultimately, whether you want to be an astronaut or a TV star, it has to be someone doing the job, so why shouldn’t it be you?

The great thing about modern technology is that it has made following your dreams far easier.  Many people hear how hard it used to be to do certain things and assume it will still be as hard to get where they want to be, and in turn simply shy away for the opportunities. In reality, all it now takes to really get noticed is hard work. And sometimes not even that.

Take acting and modelling as a case in point. At one time, being seen by the right casting directors and agents was all about spending years training and building up a range of great contacts. However, today it can be as simple as joining a company that specialise in advertising casting calls and you can have all the best opportunities text to you. One such company, Audition Now offer the facility to anyone aged 18 years and over to have a maximum of three texts per week send to them at £1.50 per text, meaning that whether you are interested in modelling or acting you can have a dozen casting calls a month simply by signing up.

The same applies to almost anything these days. Whilst certain jobs do indeed need qualifications for them, for those that are just about hard work and perseverance, technology today has meant that making the most of opportunities is easier than ever, and following your dreams is no longer just about wishful thinking. So why not look at what possibilities there are for your dreams, and make a commitment to yourself that you will follow them.
